Here is a picture I took of a photo of the housebarn when it was a functional farm.

Waskish Bible Camp, what remains.........
The chapel was turned into a garage, but they kept the chapel window!
The chapel doors on the end of the garage!
it thrilled us to see this!

The dining hall now turned cabin. The entry was in the front where they put the fireplace.
This is the boys cabin and the boys outhouse is behind it. To the right is a new home where the girls cabin was, the girls outhouse is now a storage shed for these people.
We so enjoyed talking to the local people, we have some people we want to contact to find out when the beach was gone, when they built canals to help with the flooding from the strong winds out of the west and the rain. The camp closed after the camping season 1962 because the well was so shallow. They drilled daily in the summer of that year for a new well but could never get thru the granite shelf. The Health Department closed them down. That was the year Mt. Tabor Bible Camp started and Delia and I were blessed to go to both camps that summer!! Oh the memories this all stirred in us!
Delia & Susan Celebrate 50 years of Friendship!
Friends for 50 years, a gift from God for sure!
Delia found the road to the camp, last time we were here was 49 years ago!

There was no public beach here anymore. The locals say the beach is gone, taken by the wind. We are trespassing by walking between 2 cabins to get to the lake, no one stopped us and if they saw us, we figured they would understand our determination! We planned on taking a swim but did not dare to press out luck!

He'll Carry Your Load
He’ll Carry Your Load
“Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders—he’ll carry your load.” Psalm 55:22, The Message
I wonder, how many burdens is Jesus carrying for us that we know nothing about? We’re aware of some. He carries our sin. He carries our shame. He carries our eternal debt. But are there others? Has He lifted fears before we felt them? Those times when we have been surprised by our own sense of peace? Could it be that Jesus has lifted our anxiety onto His shoulders and placed a yoke of kindness on ours?
