During World War Two, Corrie Ten Boom and her family were taken from their home and placed in a Nazi concentration camp. She miraculously survived the horrors of the camp, but suffered the loss of her entire family. Later on, as she looked back over those dark days in her life, she was able to say, “I know that with Jesus the worst can happen, the best still remains, and His light is stronger than the deepest darkness.” She could say this because Jesus was her life, and she had learned through the most difficult experiences of life, that nothing and no one could take from her what mattered most.
~After reading her book the quote from her that stuck in my mind so well was "There is no pit so deep, that God is not deeper still." ~Susan
