Nothern Lights

A few days ago this photographer captured the Northern Lights on the North Shore of Lake Superior, so so beautiful......

"The trees, the flowers, the plants grow in silence. The stars, the sun, the moon, move in Silence. Silence gives us a new perspective" ~Mother Teresa

Canal Park on Sunday.......

My sister Sandi......

36 degrees and sunny in February! What a great winter we have had! We have been blessed!

In Your Hands

In Your Hands
Heavenly Father, my life is in Your hands.Yesterday, today, and forever, I am safe and secure in You.Lord, please help me to know that You are in control.Help me to believe You are at work in my life right now, even when I don't see it.Help me to trust in what I do not see, when what I see is so painful. Please help me to know You are taking care of my needs.
Lord, thank You for listening to my cries for help.Thank You for loving me so much.Help me to believe You and the promises You have made.Forgive me when I doubt You and Your love.I believe, Lord. Forgive me for my unbelief.
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8

Ice on the Rocks in Brighten Beach/North Shore of Lake Superior

It was 16 degrees today and windy and the ice had blown over to the south shore, but the sky was blue and sparkled on the ice on the rocks on the north shore. I love my lake!

Great Quotes about God's Will for our Lives.......

What can cross your will, when it is one with His will? –H.E. Manning

If we cannot work out the will of God where God has placed us, then why has He placed us there? –J.H. Thom

It is not the multitude of hard duties, it is not constraint and contention that advance us in our Christian course. On the contrary, it is the yielding of our wills without restriction and without choice, to tread cheerfully every day in the path in which Providence leads us, to seek nothing, to be discouraged by nothing, to see our duty in the present moment, to trust all else without reserve to the will and power of God. –Fenelon
